Some Feisty Sunday Wisdom:
I had a great conversation with a friend of mine this week. She has a big birthday coming up and we were talking about what she wants to create this year, what she wants to let go of and how done she is with certain patterns. We were only allowed to talk during the intervals in our children's elaborate puppet show so we did well to get anywhere at all.
She shared with me what one of her teachers had given her as a mantra for the year ahead. 'It doesn't sound very spiritual,' she said, 'but it feels right.'
And this is what she said: 'I will not take this shit anymore.' So clear and simple and absolutely spot on.
I love this because, until we find the fire within to start saying NO with clarity, how can we create a container that is big enough and empty enough to receive and invite in what truly wants to be ours?
We need to make space for more inner wisdom, abundance on every level, spiritual truth, serving others, being true to ourselves, connecting with our soul.
What do you need to start saying NO to in order to make this space? What shit will you just not take anymore?!
